The QS International Trade Rankings 2024 are out now, spread across two tables. The first ranks master's and MBA programmes, while the second ranks executive MBA programmes.
This split has been introduced to the rankings this year to make it easier to compare the quality of different programmes based on their level of study.
Developed in partnership with the Hinrich Foundation, these rankings focus on course content, innovative teaching, as well as graduate job prospects within international trade.
Following an initial pilot of the ranking in 2023, this year's International Trade Rankings features a revised methodology based on feedback from within the international trade industry and to better ensure that students can use the rankings to identify degree programmes which will help them pursue a career in global trade.
Master's and MBA
This year's table of master's and MBA programmes features 73 programmes offered by institutions across over 30 countries/territories.
Arizona State University (Thunderbird School of Global Management) is ranked first in the world for its Master of Global Management (MGM), one of five American universities to be included in the top 10.
ESIC Business & Marketing School is ranked as the best programme in Europe for its Master's Degree in International Trade & Business [MITB], finishing two places ahead of University of Glasgow (Adam Smith Business School).
Executive MBA
21 institutions are included in the Executive MBA table for the International Trade Rankings, with the executive MBA at Georgia Institute of Technology (Scheller College of Business) in first place.
16 study destinations are represented among the 21 institutions, including France and the UK. The United States is the most-represented study destination, with six institutions including four in the top 10.
